Bucksport Police Log Week of Jan. 17

BUCKSPORT — Bucksport Police Officer Matt Schmidt responded to the Penobscot Narrows Bridge Saturday to help a boy who had been threatening to jump off the bridge.

By the time Schmidt arrived, the boy was safe. The Maine State Police took the boy for a mental health evaluation.


Sgt. David Winchester arrested a passenger in a traffic stop Sunday who had a usable amount of heroin.

Winchester charged Jenna Maddocks, 25, of Searsport with heroin possession. Maddocks was released from the police station.

Officer Chris Woodman arrested Eric Worthing, 33, of South China on Sunday on a warrant charging failure to appear.

On Saturday, Schmidt arrested Meredith Greene, 39, of Bucksport on a warrant charging failure to appear.

Schmidt also arrested Lorraine Leach, 33, of Orland on a charge of operating after suspension. Leach was released from the station.


Schmidt summoned Rachel Iannoli, 38, of Bucksport on a charge of imprudent speed Jan. 9.

Schmidt summoned Karrie Robidoux, 33, of Bucksport on a charge of imprudent speed Jan. 10.
