BUCKSPORT — A woman called police Dec. 2 to report that approximately 20 guinea hens were on her property making her dog “go wild.”
Deputy Police Chief Dave Winchester said the birds wandered off eventually.
Citizen assist
A woman who had lunch at a Main Street restaurant Dec. 1 called police to report that her car had been stolen. It turns out the car was where she’d left it — she had just gotten confused about where that was, Winchester said.
Arrests
Officer Ryan Welch arrested Tyler Poole, 29, of Bucksport on charges of domestic violence assault, criminal mischief, obstructing government administration and probation violation Dec. 5. The victim did not require medical attention, police said.
Valerie Carpenter, 35, of Bucksport was arrested on a charge of violating conditions of release Dec. 4.
Officer Chris Woodman arrested Dustin Herbest, 37, of Bucksport on a charge of violation of the Sex Offender Registry Act — failure to file required paperwork, police said. Herbest was arrested on Dec. 3.
Summonses
A Bucksport resident was charged Dec. 6 after she allegedly had a burn pile with items that aren’t supposed to be burned, including a mattress and vinyl, police said. Officer Gerald Lowe summoned Heather Gordon, 40, on a charge of burning prohibited material.
Katie Carter, 24, of Blue Hill was summoned on a charge of operating after suspension Dec. 4.
Sgt. Darrin Moody summoned Ethan Pace, 25, of Searsport on a charge of operating after suspension Dec. 4.
Officer Chris Woodman summoned Paul Beaucher, 20, of Clifton on a charge of operating after suspension Dec. 5.
Ethan Pace, 25, of Searsport was summoned on a charge of operating after suspension Dec. 4.
Extrication
The Bucksport Fire Department had to help extricate an employee at a local motel Dec. 4 who had gotten stuck between pipes and a wall while doing some work.
