Bucksport Police Log Week of April 26



BUCKSPORT — Bucksport Police are investigating the theft of a ring, valued at $4,000, which was taken from a residence this past week.

Officer Steve Bishop is investigating a burglary at a vacant property that was reported April 19. A real estate agent noticed that a glass panel in the door had been broken. Sgt. David Winchester said damage was estimated at $1,000.

Continuing in thefts, a Bucksport woman reported that someone used her credit card without her permission at a couple of businesses on April 17. Winchester said charges are pending.

Arrests

Officer Ryan Welch arrested Robert Dumais, 19, of Medford, Mass., on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant Sunday.

Officer Chris Woodman Saturday arrested Christopher Allen, 28, of Bucksport on charges of bail violation and probation violation.

Welch arrested Candra Leckman, 29, of Ellsworth on warrants Saturday.

Summonses

Officer Matt Schmidt summoned Marin Lindsay, 30, of Augusta on a charge of operating after suspension Saturday.

Also Saturday, Woodman summoned Justin Soper, 38, of Orland on a charge of operating after suspension.

Police summoned Eric Curtis, 29, of Prospect on a charge of operating after suspension April 16.

Speeding

Officer Robert Findlay summoned Taylor Griffin-Drew, 22, of Bangor on a charge of speeding April 18.
