Bucksport Police Log Week of Jan. 18

BUCKSPORT — Police said they summoned Amanda Bowman, 37, of Bucksport on Route 1 on Jan. 9 on a charge of operating after suspension.

Later that day, police said, they summoned Roger Brown, 25, of Prospect on a charge of illegal attachment of plates on Main Street.

Police said they summoned Rachel Emond, 21, of Oakland on a charge of operating after suspension on Main Street on Jan. 13.


According to police, Matthew Gerry, 24, of Bucksport was driving on Town Farm Road on Jan. 10 when he struck a deer, causing no damage to his vehicle.

Police said Darla Crawford, 60, of Orland was driving on Route 46 on Jan. 11 when one of her tires came off. Crawford’s vehicle sustained $1,000 in damage and had to be towed from the scene, police said.

According to police, Mark Southard, 53, of Eddington came to the Public Safety Building on Jan. 12 to report that he had hit a deer on Mast Hill Road earlier that day. Southard’s vehicle sustained some damage to a door and its headlight was broken. There was no dollar estimate available on the amount of damage.
