Bucksport Police Log Week of Nov. 12

BUCKSPORT — Officer Gerald Lowe is investigating a burglary at a River Road residence that was reported Oct. 27.


Waterfront signs were taken Oct. 27.

A man reported that a pole trimmer had been stolen from his back porch Oct. 30.


Officer Robert Findlay arrested Adam Kneeland, 39, of Verona Island on a charge of bail violation Oct. 27.

Officer Chris Woodman arrested Leigh Albert of Bangor on charges of probation violation and violating conditions of release Friday.

Sgt. Darrin Moody arrested Casey O’Donnell, 35, of Bucksport on a warrant Saturday.

Bird problem

Someone found an injured owl in Verona Island Nov. 3 and brought it to the police station. A Maine game warden took the bird to get care.


Lowe charged the following two motorists with texting while driving on Nov. 3: Heather Erskine, 37, of Bucksport and Rhonda Curran, 58, of Orland.

Moody summoned Matthew Green, 33, of Hudson on charges of violating conditions of release and operating after suspension Friday.

Traffic problem

Police took a call about Dunkin’ Donuts traffic backing up into the roadway on Main Street Saturday.
