Brochendorff Enters Plea

LICHFIELD, Conn.—The owner of the Somesville Consignment Shop entered a not guilty plea Tuesday in Lichfield Superior Court.


Dianna Brochendorff, 63, of Mount Desert, is charged with first-degree larceny for allegedly selling nearly $197,000 in designer clothes and antiques belonging to a friend. Ms. Brochendorff surrendered to Connecticut State Police March 24 after a warrant was issued for her arrest. Mount Desert police assisted Connecticut police in the investigation.

Ms. Brochendorff is next scheduled to be in court on Friday, June 4.
