Victim in Blue Hill shooting identified



BLUE HILL — The Maine State Police have identified the victim of a Sunday evening shooting as Joshua Clarke, 31, reported Maine State Police spokesman Steve McCausland.

“He was shot outside his home at 646 Ellsworth Road,” McCausland said. “An autopsy was conducted today at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Augusta.”

“Detectives say the person who shot him has been identified and interviewed, and they continue to investigate the circumstances of the shooting,” the spokesman said. “No one has been charged.”

The shooting occurred at 6 p.m., police said.
