ELLSWORTH — The well-traveled road connecting Bayside Road and High Street will be entirely redone in 2014, and the public will have a chance to get an initial overview of the project Thursday night.
An informational meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the City Hall auditorium, where “preliminary engineering plans for the reconstruction of the Beechland Road” will be presented.
City Manager Michelle Beal explained the project will involve a rebuild of Beechland Road — rather than just a resurfacing — and that some land located within the right-of-way will need to be taken to complete the project.
