ELLSWORTH — The Hancock County Children’s Council has announced a new workshop for parents looking to create a nurturing environment and developing parenting practices of providing positive, nonviolent discipline to their children.
The free “Alternatives to Spanking” workshop with Linda Levesque will be held on Saturday, May 2, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Downeast Health Services, 52 Christian Ridge Road in Ellsworth.
Space is limited.
