BROOKLIN — The students of the Sedgwick and Brooklin schools have collected almost 5,000 used children’s books to raise money for an elementary school in New Delhi, India.
The money will be used to install a well, providing clean water for the 300 children and their families. Holiday books, popular series, old favorites, baby books, sets of books, etc. are all available for 50 cents. New books are no more than $3.
The sale will be held at the Brooklin School Gym on Saturday, March 28, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
After noon, books will be $1 a bag.
