Will Hatt has joined Bar Harbor Bank & Trust as senior vice president, community banking relationship manager. In this role, he helps entrepreneurs from Ellsworth to Lubec find the right financing and deposit solutions for their small businesses.
Hatt has more than 25 years of experience in financial services. His career in banking began as a lender at KeyBank, where he focused on serving consumer accounts before transitioning to small business lending.
Hatt has completed coursework focused on business management from the University of Maine and attended the American Bankers Association’s Stonier Graduate School of Banking for two years. He also earned several professional certifications from the Pinnacle Bank Training Corp.
Hatt has been an active volunteer in the community and previously served in leadership roles for Machias Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and Downeast Health Services. He also served as a corporator for Down East Community Hospital and a member of the loan committee for the Washington Hancock Community Agency, which is now Downeast Community Partners. Hatt is a former member of Rotary International.
Hatt and his wife, Rebecca, live in Dedham. They have two daughters.
