TRENTON — Bar Harbor Biotechnology is pleased to announce that Janet Yancey-Wrona, Ph.D., has accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer.
“Janet’s scientific background, combined with her management experience, brings a fresh start to Bar Harbor Biotechnology,” said John Burns, Maine Venture Fund Manager. “We look forward to the continued growth and development of Bar Harbor Biotech as it grows its existing customer base and expands into new markets.”
Yancey-Wrona, comes to Bar Harbor Biotech after several years with Maine Manufacturing LLC, a privately held producer and supplier of laboratory products for life sciences research. Prior to Maine Manufacturing, she was Chief Operating Officer of AIKO Biotechnology and was the founding President of the Maine Technology Institute. She has a BS degree in Biology from Wake Forest University, a Ph.D. degree in Biology from The University of North Carolina and performed her Postdoctoral Fellowship at the National Institute for Health in Bethesda, MD.
