Ocean’s End auction cancelled

SOUTHWEST HARBOR — The auction of the 47-acre Ocean’s End planned residential development that was scheduled for Tuesday was canceled when no offers meeting the reserve were made.

Keenan Auction company representative Stefan Keenan said that his group has received notice from several parties that they intend to make post-auction offers in private, which his company will consider. The property is owned by The First bank, which foreclosed on the property from developer Jeff Crafts.
