New Dunkin’ Donuts clears first hurdle

ELLSWORTH — Planning Board members deemed an application for a new Dunkin’ Donuts complete May 1.

Bangor-area businessman Lou Lima, through his company Lima Realty Holdings, wants to build a 4,000-square-foot building on a 1.1-acre piece of land at the corner of High Street and Kingsland Crossing.

The building, which would be located diagonally opposite from Global Beverage Warehouse, would have space for a bank in addition to the donut shop.

The proposal will come back to the Planning Board at a later date for additional review.
