BLUE HILL — A trio of cooks have opened The Mill Stream Deli, Bakery & BBQ, featuring all local foods, on Main Street.
From baked goods to vegetable side dishes, to soup, chili and nitrate-free meats, which are butchered, smoked and grilled on site, the focus is on local food.
“We just want to do affordable food for locals,” said Linda Phillips, who opened the deli with her husband, Tim, and their business partner, Lisa Lockhart.
Everything, including the jam in the cookies, is made on site except for bagels and English muffins.
