BAR HARBOR — Mainely Meat Barbeque in Town Hill will have amplified music this summer after town councilors Tuesday reversed an earlier decision to deny the establishment a special amusement permit.
Despite an hour-long hearing during which a parade of neighbors complained that the noise emanating from the establishment, which is located at Atlantic Brewing Company, is ruining their quality of life, councilors voted 6-1 to issue the permit. Christopher Walsh was the sole dissenting vote.
