Brooklin gourmet food shop has new owner, name

BROOKLIN — The Cave, a gourmet food shop in Brooklin, has changed owners and names.

On Oct. 1, Sandy Buxton acquired The Cave, which is now known as Sandy’s Provisions.

Sandy’s Provisions will continue to offer the wide selection of cheeses and wines introduced by The Cave. Barista David Dillon will continue to operate Bucklyn Coffee from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

As winter approaches, Buxton will offer hot foods including homemade mac and cheese, soups and stews.
