Blue Hill, Bucksport Rite Aids now Walgreens

BLUE HILL — The Rite Aid stores here and in Bucksport changed over to Walgreens stores last month.

Walgreens purchased all of the Rite Aid stores in Maine last year.

Some Rite Aid stores, such as the Ellsworth location, closed because there was an existing Walgreens nearby.

Others have been switched over to Walgreens.

If you are a Rite Aid pharmacy customer, you need to visit or call the pharmacy to have any existing prescriptions switched over to the new system for refills. Or you can register for a pharmacy account online at Walgreens.com.
