BLUE HILL — Restaurateur J.P. Taillon plans to open the Black Anchor Village Pub by Monday, July 22.
Taillon, his wife, Kaysie Taillon, and their business partner Sam Glass purchased the building at 50 Main St. from Gordon Stewart of Deer Isle.
The Black Anchor will offer 15 beers on tap and serve a variety of pub fare, including English dishes such as plum crumble.
Live music will be played Wednesday and Friday evenings with a jazz brunch on Sunday.
Hours are Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to close and Sunday brunch until 2 p.m. then regular menu until closing.
