BUCKSPORT — Voters here will head to the polls Thursday, April 9 instead of Tuesday, April 7 to vote for representatives to the RSU 25 Board.
Voters in the rest of the RSU, which covers Orland, Verona Island and Prospect, will head to the polls as scheduled April 7.
Bucksport Superintendent Jim Boothby said the change of schedule in Bucksport was due to a mix-up in election posting requirements in the town.
The election in Bucksport will be April 9 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the G. Herbert Jewett School gym.
Absentee ballots are available at the respective town offices.
