Bucksport Police log week of September 15



BUCKSPORT — A woman rowing on the Penobscot River the morning of Sept. 9 reported that she was getting tired and needed help. The Bucksport harbormaster located the woman.

Arrests

Officer Amanda Loeven arrested Alexander Turanski, 27, of Penobscot on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant Sept. 9 on Route 1.

Officer Ryan Welch charged two people on Route 1 Sept. 10.

Evan Benner, 31, of Waldoboro was arrested on two warrants as well as charges of operating after suspension, violating conditions of release and failure to give correct name and address.

Alexa Oliver, 33, of Damariscotta was summoned on a charge of hindering apprehension.

Officer Benjamin Kolko arrested Phillip Norris, 30, of Orland on charges of operating after revocation, violating conditions of release and drug possession Sept. 8 on Route 46. In the same incident, Bridget Sawyer, 29, of Prospect was arrested on charges of violating conditions of release and drug possession.

Chandler Levesque, 27, of Bucksport was arrested on a charge of violating conditions of release on the River Road Sept. 7.

Shelby Freilino, 31, of Bucksport was arrested on a warrant on Willins Orchard Road Sept. 6.

Summonses

Matthew D. Fischer, 27, of Alaska was summoned on charge of improper passing on River Road Sept. 8.

Officer Robert Findlay summoned Erin Hayes, 19, of Stockton Springs on a charge of speeding 71 miles per hour in a 50-mph zone on River Road Sept. 8.

Angel Pellisa, 33, of Massachusetts was summoned on a charge of operating without a license Sept. 8 on Route 1.

Tyler Smith, 22, of Plymouth was summoned on charges of operating after suspension and violating conditions of release on the River Road Sept. 5.

Motor vehicle infraction

A motorist was warned about using studded tires on Sept. 10.
