BUCKSPORT — The Bucksport Police warned a man who allegedly has been putting dog feces in the roadway. Police said this has been an ongoing issue. Officer Gerald Lowe spoke with the man Aug. 29.
Arrests
Officer Kayla Brooks arrested Tanya T. Prime, 52, of Sedgwick on charges of operating without a license and bail violation Aug. 30.
Bret Simendinger, 35, of Rockland was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant Aug. 31.
Child abuse
The Hancock County District Attorney’s Office has asked the department to look into a possible case of child abuse. The request was made Sept. 1.
Summonses
Officer Robert Findlay summoned Amy Tunney, 44, of Blue Hill on a charge of speeding. Tunney was allegedly traveling 67 miles per hour in a 45-mph zone Sept. 1.
Deputy Police Chief David Winchester summoned Nia McCann, 25, of Bucksport on a charge of speeding Friday.
Sgt. Darrin Moody summoned Kevin Pederson, 29, of Bucksport on a charge of operating after suspension Saturday.
Ian Day, 22, of Hermon was summoned on a charge of OUI Saturday.
