BUCKSPORT — Two residents advised Officer Alan Medina on July 18 that they were missing two cats but did not want to make a report.
The cats run away but always come back, the pair reported.
Summonses
Cody Ames, 37, of Bucksport was summoned on charges of having an unattended burn and violating conditions of release on Noel Way July 22.
Officer Benjamin Kolko summoned Casey Rairdon, 32, of Swanville on a charge of violating conditions of release July 17 on Nicholson Avenue.
Ashley Oleson, 34, of Bucksport was summoned on a charge of speeding 50 miles per hour in a 35-mph zone on the River Road July 20.
Accidents
A car went off the road and struck a tree while traveling on Millvale Road July 21, police said.
Victoria Maxim, 66, of Blue Hill was driving a 2018 Subaru, which had to be towed, said Officer Kayla Brooks.
A car went into an oncoming lane and struck a pickup truck head-on after a motorist fell asleep while driving on River Road near Drake’s Lane July 19, said Officer Robert Findlay.
Dina Goodwill, 59, of Verona Island was driving a 2005 Toyota, which struck a 2009 Ford truck operated by Anna West, 33, of Orrington, police said.
Both vehicles had to be towed due to disabling damage, police reported.
