Bucksport Police log week of August 18

BUCKSPORT — A van struck and went into the side of the Carrier’s Mainely Lobster building on Route 46 Aug. 11. No one was injured, according to police.

Phillip Manion, 89, of Coronado, Calif., was driving the passenger van, a 2019 Dodge, according to a report filed by Officer Kayla Brooks. There was no word on a damage estimate to the building or the vehicle.


Robert Smith, 46, of Bucksport was arrested on a charge of operating after suspension on Route 1 Aug. 7.

Officer Benjamin Kolko arrested Phillip Norris, 30, of Orland on a charge of operating after revocation on Route 1 Aug. 11.


Officer Alan Medina summoned Susan Golding, 69, of Bucksport on a charge of operating without a license over 90 days on Aug. 8.

Joshua Moore, 37, of Bucksport was summoned on a charge of bail violation Aug. 13 on Bucks Street.

Officers assisted the Maine Department of Health and Human Services Aug. 12.
