Police respond to infant death



ELLSWORTH — Ellsworth police officers responded to the death of an infant at a residence around 12 p.m. on Sunday, according to a press release from Police Chief Glenn Moshier.

The State Police Major Crimes Unit is conducting an investigation of the death, according to the release. Maine Attorney General Protocol calls for an investigation into the death of any child under three years old.
