Body found in Trenton identified

ELLSWORTH — The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office has identified a body found in Trenton Wednesday as that of Barbara Graves, 88, of Trenton.

“No foul play is suspected in this case,” said Deputy Luke Gross. “The Sheriff’s Office is working with the Medical Examiner’s Office, as the investigation is still ongoing.”

Passers-by found Graves’ body in the mud flats of Goose Cove, which is off Oak Point Road.

The Maine Marine Patrol assisted at the scene, as did the Trenton Fire Department.
