Morghan Elizabeth Lanham and Matthew Jon Alway were united in marriage Aug. 6 at Camp Carlson, Ft. Knox, with the Rev. Eugene Demmons officiating over the outside ceremony. The reception was held at Camp Carlson.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Becky Lanham of Lebanon Junction, Ky., and the granddaughter of Jerry and Sandy Greenwell of Vine Grove, Ky., and Edna Lanham of Lebanon Junction.
The bridegroom is the son of John and Laurie Dinnell of Vine Grove and Bruce Alway of Santa Monica, Calif., and the grandson of the Rev. Eugene and Joan Demmons of Gouldsboro.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Nuptial music was provided by pianist Erik King, a student at Berea College, and Artie Kimble with Spotlight Entertainment.
The maid of honor was Jamie Ponder, cousin of the bride. Ely Saldeen, friend of the bride, was a bridesmaid. Makenzie Ponder was the flower girl.
The best men were Joshua Young and Scott Huff, longtime friends of the groom of Concord, N.H., Thomas Lanham Jr. was an usher for the ceremony.
The bride is a graduate of John Hardin High School and is employed by Kay Jewelers and Sun Tan City, both of Elizabethtown, Ky., as a sales associate and attends Campbellsville University and double majors in English and music.
The groom is a graduate of Concord High School, Concord, N.H., and is employed at iPay Technologies as a systems operator and works part time at Best Buy as a customer specialist.
The couple spent their honeymoon at Daytona Beach, Fla., and plan to live in Elizabethtown.
