NORTHEAST HARBOR — Sterling and Dorothy (Haynes) Haskell, formerly of Northeast Harbor celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family celebration recently.
The couple was married Oct., 5, 1952 in Northeast Harbor. Sterling worked as an electronics engineer specializing in telecommunications. He is amateur radio operator and golfer. Dorothy worked as a director of grants for a charitable group. She is an avid bridge player and golfer. They are the parents of Bruce Haskell and his wife Helen of Long Valley, NJ. They have three grandchildren, Bridget and her husband Joseph Corby, Neil Haskell, Liza Haskell and one great grandchild.
