Cmdr. and Mrs. Peter B. Dodson are honored to announce the marriage of their daughter, Kimberly Anne Dodson, to Christopher O’Neal Wall, son of Jenette Buchanan Vandiver and O’Neal Wall. They were married May 22 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Beaufort, S.C., by Pastor Shannon Mullen.
The bride’s matron of honor was her sister, Rebecca Palmateer, from Henniker, N.H. Her husband, Mark Palmateer, was an usher, and their children, Brody and Katie, were the ring-bearer and flower girl. The bride’s maid of honor was her friend from college, Shannon Harmon, from Okatie, S.C. The attendants were her cousin, Taylor Dodson, sister-in-law, Lisa Baxter-Dodson, and friend, Victoria Spearman.
Kris Ancone, college friend of the groom, was the groom’s best man. The groomsmen were friends Sean Elston, Mike Brown and Rick Haynes and brother of the bride Casey Dodson.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Ellsworth High School, a 2010 graduate of the University of South Carolina and is currently attending Walden University, working on her Masters of Psychology with a focus in health psychology.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of McCormick High School, a 2002 graduate of the University of South Carolina and is currently finishing up his contract overseas with Blackwater. He has recently joined the National Guard and will be training to become part of the Special Forces.
The couple currently reside in Charleston, S.C.
