Charlene Alley of Belfast, daughter of Oliver and Alice McNeil of Franklin and the late David Alley, and Charles Tozier of Belfast, son of Sherrill Burdin of Garland and Fremont Tozier of Belfast, were married Aug. 16, 2008, at Searsport. The ceremony was performed by Brenda Corbin, justice of the peace.
The bride was escorted by her father and her nephew, Dekoter Walker. The bride’s father gave her away.
Belinda Smith of Bucksport, cousin of the groom, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashley Walker, daughter of the bride, and Monica Harvey, cousin of the groom. Flower girls were Jasmine Robbins and Makenzie Whitcomb.
John Curtis of Frankfort, cousin of the groom, was the best man. Ushers were Nicholas Beal, who is like a son to the couple, and Amanda Whitcomb, cousin of the groom. Ring bearers were Cody Robbins and Landon Smith.
The bride and groom held a lighting ceremony honoring the bride’s grandparents, Arlene and Leslie McNeil. They were joined in the ceremony by the bride’s family including an aunt and uncle from Florida
The bride graduated from Sumner High School in 1996 and is employed by Attendant Services.
The groom graduated from Dexter Regional High School in 1984 and is self-employed.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Searsport and are residing in Belfast.
