Maine-Asian fusion cooking class offered



WINTER HARBOR — Bath cook Chris Toy, who teaches cooking at the Stonewall Kitchen Cooking School’s flagship store in York, will put his Chinese cuisine cooking skills to work in “Downeast Far East Fusion Cuisine” from 1 to 4 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 5, in a class offered through the 2019 Schoodic Arts Festival.

The class ($52 per person), which will cover lobster wonton soup, shrimp and pork egg rolls, stir-fry with chicken, cast-iron broiled salmon with ginger, garlic and scallion pesto and other dishes, will be held at the Winter Harbor Masonic Lodge.

In addition, Toy is teaching “Hawaiian Cooking” on Aug. 5, “Asian Hot Pot” and “Asian Noodles” on Aug. 6 and “Cooking with Wine” on Aug. 8. To sign up, call 963-2569 and visit schoodicartsforall.org.
