Wine Tasting Set In Blue Hill

BLUE HILL — On Sunday, July 19, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., the directors of the Blue Hill Public Library will be presenting the first ever wine tasting at the library.

Hosted by Max Treitler, owner of the Blue Hill Wine Shop, the fund-raising event is a way to both support the library and learn about fine wines.

Light fare, including special cheeses and canapés, will be served with the wines.

In addition to tasting the wines, participants will learn about interesting food and wine pairings for summer, with an emphasis on local seafood and seasonal produce.

A case of selected wines will be raffled at the event, and discounts will be available on orders.

Tickets to the event are available from the Blue Hill Wine Shop and at the library, for $25 each, or two for $40.

Raffle tickets will also be available at both places.
