Taste of Thai

How about a steaming bowl of hot and sour chicken or shrimp soup, simmered with  herbs spices, scallions, mushrooms and fresh lemongrass to chase away the increasingly raw, cold days?

Siam Orchid is a chef-owned Thai restaurant whose specialties include ginger duck, basil soft shell crab and many other dishes as well as an extensive sushi menu.

Siam Orchid is located at 30 Rodick St. in Bar Harbor. The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. To make reservations, call 288-9669. Check out the menu at http://siamorchidrestaurant.net.
