The Grinch is back to steal Christmas!

ELLSWORTH — Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers, the merry trio of siblings from Bar Harbor, will once again bring their antics and stage “The Grinch” at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, and at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, after the Heart of Ellsworth Downtown Christmas Parade.

Founded in 2000, Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers is made up of Erik Torbeck, Brian Torbeck and Robin Erlandsen. Over the years, the troupe has become well known in Maine, New England and beyond for their comical takes on classics like Theodor “Dr. Seuss” Geisel’s story “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” and “The Headless Horseman” from Washington Irving’s “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.”

The puppeteers use hand-made glove, mouth and rod puppets in their shows geared for all ages.
