Silent Picture at The Alamo

“Manhattan Madness,” a silent film comedy starring Douglas Fairbanks Sr., will be shown at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at The Alamo Theatre in Bucksport.

Grammy Award-winning pianist Paul Sullivan will accompany the movie. Hosted by Northeast Historic Film, the 8 p.m. screening includes a champagne reception.

“Manhattan Madness” was released the same year that the Alamo Theatre opened in 1916.
