Dress up as a your favorite character in Laura Ingalls Wilder’s “Little House on the Prairie” and attend a special children’s story time at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Ellsworth Public Library.
Wilder’s pioneer life on the American frontier was immortalized in her beloved “Little House” series of books. Wilder’s chronicle of a hard but loving life has been embraced by generations of readers, and the television adaptation of “Little House on the Prairie” (1974-1983) starring Michael Landon is considered a family-friendly classic.
Admission is free to the read-aloud, which also will be accompanied by a pioneer-themed craft activity.
