Concert Scheduled At St. Saviour’s

BAR HARBOR — On Sunday, Nov. 7, at 3 p.m. the St. Saviour’s Parish Choir, augmented by voices from St. John’s, St. Mary’s and St. Andrew, will present a special musical offering in remembrance of loved ones who have died.


The main work on the program, which will be accompanied by strings and organ, is Franz Joseph Haydn’s “Little Organ Mass.” The program will also include Mozart’s “Ave Verum,” Mendelssohn’s “Grant Unto Us Thy Peace,” the Shaker song “Lay Me Low,” and “The Souls of the Righteous” by Welsh composer Geraint Lewis.

Admission is free, but donations toward St. Saviour’s Friends of Music will be gratefully received.

St. Saviour’s Parish (handicapped-accessible) is located at 41 Mt. Desert St. in Bar Harbor.
