TREMONT — Danny Harper and Friends are set to perform a benefit concert for the Tremont Consolidated School music program at 7 p.m. Friday, May 15 in the school’s gymnasium. Proceeds from the concert will be used for the repair of older musical instruments, the purchase of replacement instruments and, possibly, buying a new projector for the music room.
Tickets cost $10. There is no admission charge for students in the eighth grade and those younger. Tickets are available at the school (call 244-7777) or from Tremont music students.
The Tremont Wildcat Jazz Band will open the concert.
