Perhaps you need a teacup full of succulents or a glass terrarium to gaze at after the holiday madness ends.

Gone Shopping: Fill your cup

You might want something green to display on a table or windowsill next month after you’ve removed the holiday frippery.

Or maybe you’re looking for a gift that keeps on giving.succulents-close-up

In either case, we were thrilled to find succulents growing in teacups at The Rock and Art Shop on Main Street in Ellsworth.

A sales clerk advised that at least ten species of succulent are planted in each teacup from donkey’s tail to rosettes. Teacups are $20.succulents-in-glass-bowl

We also found pots of Ken’s Candy variety of begonias. Those are $8.

The shop also has flowering air plants for $10. You know the beauty of air plants, right? No soil required.

We also spied a vertical passion flower plant and several round terrariums suitable for hanging.teacup-succulents

The shop also has Rifle Paper Co. journals and writing pads for tracking all your upcoming New Year’s intentions.

The Rock & Art Shop is open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
