Nautical stripes, slinky solids and bell sleeves are on the dress menu at T.J. Maxx right now. Get yours before they’re all gone.

Spring dresses have sprung

June graduations and weddings are just two months away. You can save yourself hassle by shopping early for outfits when there are still choices and sizes available.

A rack of spring dresses, many in nautical stripes, cried out to us at T.J. Maxx.

We succumbed to a long-sleeve, knee-length navy and white striped number by Sail to Sable. The fabric is soft and slips over our head even though there is a back zip.

If you need something fancier, we found white Calvin Klein dresses with bell sleeves, which are a big trend for this year. Those are $49.99 and range from sizes 4 to 12.

There also were white sleeveless Calvin Klein fitted dresses for $39.99.

You may not feel like looking at warm weather dresses yet, but by the time June and July roll around, the racks will be picked over.

We found one red sleeveless knee-length dropped waist dress, featuring a silver chain around the neckline, which reminded us of something a Greek goddess might wear to a cocktail party.

There was a Donna Morgan short sleeve dress in “beet” with a gold zip for $39.99.

T.J. Maxx also had simpler dresses, including a black tank style dress with a wide band of white at the hem by Ann Allee & Hope.
