Balloons, streamers, colorful paper goods and more can be found at the newly open Dollar Tree on Route 3 next to Marden’s.

Party on at the Dollar Tree

Shopping for party supplies and gift packaging got a lot easier with the recent opening of Dollar Tree, which is next to Marden’s.

The Dollar Tree has paper goods — paper plates, napkins and utensils — in several festive colors, including purple, blue, red, green and pink, just to name a few.

We found gift bags galore, “shreds,” shredded paper for stuffing inside baskets and bags, ribbons, wrapping paper and bows — all for a dollar each.

That’s another fun fact about The Dollar Tree. Unlike other stores with “dollar” in their names, merchandise is all $1.

Are you making last minute Easter baskets? There are stuffers like toy baby chicks that hop.

Are you planning a birthday party? There are lots of party favors as well as balloons.

The Dollar Tree also has wedding reception supplies.

There are household items too as well as health and beauty supplies, candy, food and cleaning supplies.

Do you need vases for all the summer flowers you’ll be growing? There are glass ones in a variety of sizes. There are silk flowers to put in those vases if you can’t grow your own.

The store, at 461 High St., is open Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
