Nibbles: blueberry pancake breakfast and four other upcoming events



Stack ’em up!

Get fortified from 6 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, at the 55th Annual Winter Harbor Lobster Festival’s blueberry pancake breakfast at the Masonic Hall in preparation for festivities ranging from the Lobster Boat races at Henry Cove to the parade in downtown Winter Harbor at 5:30 p.m.

Classic, delicious

Homemade lobster stew, salad, rolls, dessert and beverages compose the menu for the Bucksport United Methodist Church’s lobster stew dinner with seatings at 5 and 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9. The cost is $15 per person. To reserve seats, call 469-3622.

Baking bread on the hearth will be a major focus at the Wilson Museum’s “Fireside Cooking” demonstration from 2 to 5 p.m. in the John & Phebe Perkins House at 111 Perkins St. in Castine.
