Holiday hub

The Holiday Marketplace in the former J&B Atlantic space on Main Street in Ellsworth is full of holiday accoutrements from ornaments to candles to cards.

Brooklin’s Leaf & Anna shop has decorations galore, including glitzy decorated tree ornaments, which we want made into earrings.

Leaf & Anna also brought from Brooklin an extensive offering of the vibrant Betsy Olmstead linens. There are stockings, pillows, totes and tea towels. We even spied a fox pillow.

Leslie Harlow has plenty of gourmet offerings from Sullivan Harbor Farm at her booth. She also has barware and adorable felted star ornaments by Susan Tripp.

Ellsworth photographer Nicholas Navarre has a display of his framed photographs in an assortment of sizes.

Sea Crow Co., which is based in Hancock, offers nautical handbags, pillows and wristlets featuring real lobstermen’s float rope and other fishing gear.

Hancock’s Gull Rock Pottery has wheel-thrown or slab-crafted stoneware with several shelves full of mugs, vases and serving dishes. All of the stoneware is oven and dishwasher safe.

During the weekend, a mini craft fair surfaces amid the permanent vendors. The crafters rotate from one weekend to the next.

Holiday Marketplace hours through Dec. 31 are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed Christmas Day.
