Deer Isle Stonington Mariners Bring Home Gold Ball
For the first time ever, the Deer Isle-Stonington Mariner boys are taking a gold ball home to their high school. The Mariners broke open a close game and raced away to a 76-54 win over Gould Academy to claim the state Class D basketball championship.
