In 2015 – 2016, eight games were won by more than 24 points. In 2016-2017, all but seven games were won by more than 24 points. The increasing competition that comes with later rounds in the playoffs showed narrowing margins of victory. The 2015-2016 championship game was the only playoff game in the span where the margin of victory was more than the game before. The 2016-2017 championship game was the closest victory over the span, while the only loss was two games before the 2015-2016 playoffs against Ellsworth.
