Milestones

   Circa 1820: Settled by Allen Archer, Bartholomew Butler and George Mace.
   1890: Population of Osborn grows to 63, Fletcher’s Landing has 31.
   1899-1920s: Howard Fletcher manufactures boats at Fletcher’s Landing.
   1913-1915: Linnie Mace runs the Osborn Post Office.
   1920-1923: Carrie Mace runs the last Osborn Post Office.
   July 7, 1923: Plantation 21 officially named Osborn.
   1930: Population of Osborn: 34; Fletcher’s Landing: 8.
