BROOKLIN — The fourth annual Brooklin Strides walk is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 6.
The walk’s goal is to raise money for breast cancer, research, advocacy and support.
The walk will start at 10:30 a.m. from the Brooklin General Store.
Rain date is Sunday, Nov. 7.
The walk will go down Naskeag Point Road to the harbor, approximately 3.6 miles.
Rides will be available back to store for one-way walkers.
After the round-trip walk, there will be hot refreshments at a local home.
No minimum amount is required. All checks should be written to: NBCCF (National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund)… or Healthcare Charities (to buy gas cards) for women being treated at Eastern Maine Medical/Cancer Care of Maine who cannot afford to get to their treatments.
Contributions to either organization are tax-deductible.
