Brittany Nicolle Poors



ELLSWORTH — Brittany Nicolle Poors passed away July 1, 2013, at the age of 16, long before her time in a tragic car accident. She was born Feb. 25, 1997, to Russell and Amy (Fowler) Poors.

Brittany was the life of any situation she found herself in. Her goal in life was to make everyone as happy as she could and no matter how down you were feeling, she could get you to laugh. She enjoyed spending time with her mom and her friends, but one of her favorite past times was to annoy her older brothers.

Brittany was predeceased by her favorite uncle Joe Messer. She also had another love of her life, which was her dog, Oliver. Brittany is survived by her parents, Russell Poors Jr. and Amy (Fowler) Poors of Ellsworth; two brothers, Joshua Fowler and Jacob Poors; sister, Celyna Morrison; and her favorite nephew, Cooper; grandparents, Russell and Lillie Poors of Ellsworth; great-grandmother, Viola Brooks of Milbridge, Darrellyn and Calvin Smith of Charleston, Ralph and Gina Fowler of Franklin; great- grandmother, Christine Reed of Florida; great-grandfather, Chippy Wyman. She also leaves behind her uncles, Ralph Fowler Jr. and his wife, Mary, Marshall Fowler and his wife, Becky; aunts, Tina Poors, Michelle Poors, Marilyn Davis and Audrey Gilman. She also had many cousins, Navaeh, Brooklyn, Logan, and her favorite of all Emily. Brittany will also be deeply missed by her best friends, Amber Danico and Cailyn Ray. We all will miss and love you Brittany. You will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace.

A viewing will be held noon to 5 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2013, at Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, 215 Main St., Ellsworth. A prayer will be offered at 2 p.m. for those who wish to gather. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Mary Dow Cancer Center, 50, Union St., Ellsworth, ME 04605.
