UPDATE: Rollover Accident on Bar Harbor Road

TRENTON — A vehicle rolled over on the Bar Harbor Road around 3 p.m. Dec. 1 when the driver lost control on a curve.

The driver, Roy Goodwin, 82, of Seal Cove was conscious and did not appear to be seriously injured, according to Hancock County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeff McFarland.

The accident occurred near Romer Farms.

McFarland said Goodwin lost control of his 2003 Ford Taurus on a curve. The car skidded on the gravel shoulder and came to rest on its roof at the bottom of a small embankment.

Goodwin was transported to Maine Coast Memorial Hospital.

The Trenton Fire Department, Hancock County Sheriff’s Department and County Ambulance responded.
