Park offered easements

ACADIA NAT’L PARK — The Acadia National Park Advisory Commission has recommended that the park accept the donation of three easements.

Schoodic Woods LLC has offered 1,400 acres on property along the entrance road to the Schoodic section of Acadia.

The park also has been offered a 5.75-acre easement in Bass Harbor Marsh that, along with other easements, will protect wetlands.

The third easement, from Maine Coast Heritage Trust, consists of 2.1 acres near Lower Hadlock Pond.
